Austin
The Austin Motor Company was founded in 1905 at Longbridge, UK by Herbert Austin. During the First World War Austin underwent major expansion fulfilling a variety of government contracts and the workforce reached 22,000.
Classic models include the Austin 7, the Maxi, the Cambridge and the Austin Princess. The first Minis also bore the Austin marque.
The Austin brand was discontinued in 1987.
